Every system we sell must pass our tests for functionality. Refurbished systems may have some minor cosmetic imperfections, but these will not affect the performance of your system.

What is covered by this limited warranty?

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the hardware products sold by us on a part-by-part basis.

What is NOT covered by this limited warranty?

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Software, including the operating system (if any), trial software (if any), and pre-loaded software (if any)

❖   Problems that result from:

  • External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power
  • Products damaged by misuse, abuse, riot, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing, power failure, power reduction, telephone failure, or acts of God
  • Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions
  • Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance
  • Problems caused by misusing accessories, parts, or components
  • Products with altered/damaged warranty seal, missing or altered Service Tags or serial numbers
  • Cost of installation, removal, or re-installation of this product or any component of the product
  • Expendable items such as batteries and other operating supplies
  • Purely cosmetic scratches, dents, or other similar damages

How long does the six months limited warranty last? (Included with purchase)

This limited warranty lasts for 180 days, and begins on the date of purchase indicated on your invoice.

Life-time Support – We will make every effort to assist you with any issue you may encounter after your warranty has expired. You may call us if you need your battery, keyboard, screen, etc., replaced. You only pay for the cost/shipping/installation of the item, as the case may be.

What do I do if I need warranty service?

Before the limited warranty expires, please call us at the number listed below. Please have your order number available when you call.

What will We do?

(Excluding holidays)If you call us with a technical issue at any time during the warranty period, we will first determine if the problem is covered under the limited warranty. If the problem is covered under this limited warranty, we will attempt to diagnose and fix the problem over the phone. If a replacement part is necessary to fix the problem, we will ship you, at our cost, a refurbished replacement part. We will assist you in replacing the defective part with the replacement part over the phone. We may also collect and service your laptop if necessary.

BestBuy will not be responsible for loss of any of your confidential, proprietary, or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.

All parts and systems are inspected and tested for quality.

May I transfer this limited warranty?

This limited warranty may not be transferred. We do not warrant any software under this Agreement.
